Mobile Messenger for SAP NetWeaver
Based on the concept of “developed in SAP R/3, for SAP R/3”, the Mobile Messenger for SAP NetWeaver is a complete server and administration system designed to launch secure and robust mobile services, and at the same time manage customer databases in complete SAP Environment. These services could be Mobile Banking, SMS Chat, SMS Voting, SMS Competitions, SMS Marketing, SMS Alerts, and any other service, which can be made mobile.
EMI’s Mobile Messenger is a scalable Mobile Messaging server that power numerous MT and MO interactive services for SAP enabled corporations. Mobile Messaging Engine is designed to seamlessly fit into a SAP environment, with quick scriptable layers enabling the efficient connection to numerous SAP Backend Servers. The product itself is designed to be a stand-alone product or deployed together with SAP NetWeaver component.
The server is designed with scalability and flexibility in mind with the ability to handle hundreds of simultaneous mobile messages and requests every second within the SAP NetWeaver environment - EMI has achieved this through years of understanding, rigorous system testing and the customer's demands for quality and security.
With the EMI Mobile Messenger, SAP enabled corporations can feel at ease with different messaging protocols and even different mobile terminals used within their networks. The server is designed with open application interface that allows for easy integration into any system network, no matter the complexity or integrity standards laid down.

EMI Mobile Messenger (EMM)
The EMI Mobile Messenger (EMM) is a tool for SAP R/3 developed on SAP Netweaver™ to quickly build any SMS Application imaginable. It allows customers to easily send and receive SMS into and from SAP R/3 to interface with SAP functions: from txt-banking to txt-promotions and beyond.
EMM was built for all the SAP R/3 enabled enterprise that requires scalability, reliability, integration and extensibility. It is developed to provide a low cost, flexible SMS sending and receiving tool specifically for SAP R/3. This was primarily to avoid the need for expensive and complex middleware messaging applications and secondarily to reduce the amount of programming involved in interface development. EMM has functionality to automatically detect and process SMS messages, monitor and manage SMS messages and provides an effective framework to process business transactions.
